The chicken looked dirty and did not taste good. I hope that I can doctor up the chicken and cook differently because there was ALOT of leftovers.

This recipe is great. My husband and I both made funny faces when we read/heard what it was called, but tasting it made all the difference. The thing that I loved most about this menu was the budget, time, waist friendly approach. Keep it coming Robin!

I just made the chicken and it was just okay. I made a bunch, so I hope the chicken will go well in lunch salads and sandwiches.

Very unappetizing

I used skinless chicken parts which I had on hand, thinking the flavor would be even more pronounced than chicken breasts. They came out looking dirty and rather bland. I can think of many better ways to cook chicken. I can only imagine what they would have looked like with white froth on top. Mind you, I find it hard to believe a cook who prepares food wearing long sleeve jackets and sweaters - very unsanitary to say the least.

Interesting mix of flavors

I liked the idea of horseradish sauce on chicken--it was tasty but I thought the sauce was too thin so I added a bit of cornstarch to thicken it up. Next time I would coat the chicken with the combination of Dijon and Balsamic and then refrigerate for a while to get it to stick better--don't know if that would work, but worth a try.

Fantastic and Easy!

Rating the Acorn Squash

We have never had Acorn Squash until now. WOW!!!! I decided to cut my in half, scoop it out and then cut into rings. I place it in a shallow baking pan, sprayed with oil spray, placed them down, spray again, and put 2-3 drops of water in each ring. Then baked. about 20 min later, i turned them over and baked 10 min more. YUMMY!! These were hard to leave alone. My family (husband and 13 yr old daughter) couldnt believe how delicious these were. WHO KNEW!!! Robin, You've done it again. You've introduced our family to a new vegetable, prepared it healthfully and we love it. You're amazing! Don't change a thing!!

I enjoyed this

This was not our favorite, but it was pretty good. It was soooo easy, so that I gave it 4 stars. I might make this again just for the ease.

Loved it

I didn't make the squash but we loved the chicken and the sauce was fabulous. I roasted broccoli on another pan (for a shorter time) and we had a super easy, quick and yummy dinner.

YUMMY!

I made the balsamic chicken without the froth, and it was soooo good! The flavors work so well together. I make this chicken at least once a week because I love it so much. Thanks Robin!

easy and so good!

i made the balsamic chicken without the sauce and it was very good! i only had chicken breast tenders, so that's what i used and they cooked up really quickly and were very moist and flavorful. this is a super easy and tasty recipe and i can see how the horseradish froth would lend a nice flavor. i'll try it w/the froth next time!

TO DIE FOR CHICKEN

I can only comment on the Balsamic Chicken - this is a fantastic and simple recipe for chicken. It cooked in 1/2 hour and the taste was phenomenal - without the horsey sauce, which I didn't make. Don't hesitate to try this one today - thanks Robin!

What in the world is going on here? This is the most disgusting looking dish. You eat with your eyes first and this made me want to throw it out without even tasting it! I'm usually up for trying something different, but just the thought of the combination of horseradish and balsamic vinegar was hard to comprehend. I love both of these things...just not together!

I liked this!

This was an enjoyable and satisfying dish (I only made the chicken). I made a few tiny changes, such as flattening the chicken breasts to about 1/4" thick.. and I drizzled a little of plain balsamic vinegar on them, and placed in fridge to marinade.. about an hour. I really liked the balsamic/Dijon glaze! It sunk into the chicken, nicely - and my chicken came out very moist, tender, and flavorful. :-) (I was very generous with the pepper though) I can see how some reviewers stated that the chicken looked "dirty", but to me, it kind of resembled bbq chicken :-) The horseradish froth (the word 'froth', doesn't really sound appealing! lol), was good, and very subtle - although quite thin. I thought it might be overpowering, but nope - not at all. I'd probably skip the milk next time and just whisk together some sour cream and horseradish..and maybe a dash of milk to make it saucy. I served this with brown rice, with chopped roasted asparagus/almonds in it.

Worst Dish Ever

I made this dish exactly, following each step. However, the flavors just did not blend well together. The horseradish overpowered everything else. The potatoes and squash took far longer to cook than the chicken and everything was bland as salt and pepper were the only spices used. I enjoy cooking and eating healthy, nevertheless, this meal was a waste of good, healthy ingredients not to mention time. Yuck!

This was ok

It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The froth was very light and you could barely taste the horseradish. I didn't want the horseradish to be overpowering but something was missing.
