Delicious when cooked BUT the cooking time was far too short (unless you like raw salmon). My salmon slice was smaller than the recipe, and was uncooked in Paula's TV statement of "13 minutes. No more. No less." The recipe on this site has different herbs & a different cooking time (still not enough) than Paula's show. I hope it is corrected so those who print the recipe and don't read reviews have their salmon finished the same time as the rest of their meal! I used Alaskan king (expensive) and was so disappointed it wasn't complete at the proper time. That being said, the salmon was moist and flavorful after extra time in the oven. As for the star rating, it's really a 5 on taste and a 1 on the precision of the recipe instructions.

Delicious when using the right recipe

This recipe is incorrect: The spices used were rosemary, sage, and thyme when Paula made it on TV. I found this recipe absolutely delicious, and it was very refreshing and light. When using the house seasoning (pepper, salt, and garlic powder) be extremely cautious with the amount of salt you use...I used a bit too much salt so there were certain bites that had an extra salty taste. When made correctly, this is the perfect dinner to make when you want a light meal or don't have much time.

Not the same recipe as on the show!!!

First of all, the recipe on her show today (July 30th) used thyme, sage and rosemary. She also used garlic powder in the seasoning along with salt & pepper. I made it exactly as she did on the show and found that her magic 13 minutes (no more, no less) was way off. I preheated the oven to 350 as she said, but I needed to cook it an extra 10 mins at least for it to be cooked to my liking. At 13 minutes as she said, it was still raw on the top. Not to my taste. I loved the favor though. Will make it again, just make adjustments to the temp and time.

The recipe on the show called for sprigs of rosemary, thyme, and sage. The sage is what really makes it! The salmon becomes infused with the herb flavors. The salmon takes about 25 minutes to cook. Well worth it!!!

Lite and delicious

This recipe was simple and easy to make. I've made it twice, once with orange slices and the other with lemon slices, both are delicious. Thanks Paula!
