This was even better than I expected it to be. I worked the rub under the skin to flavor the meat as well. It was a little messy but I cannot wait to make it again.

Bland, amazingly enough...

Not great, not terrible. Definately edible and very juicy but pretty boring.

Hot? But good

This one was good. It wasn't as hot as I thought it would be or wanted it to be but it did have good flavor.

Easy and Awesome! I used mild peppers and it still has great flavor. Also, I forgot I didn't have poppy seeds and substituted celery seed in the salad dressing and it was still very good!

Great recipe!

My husband loves fried chicken and this was a great way to make it in 30 minutes. The taste was great even though I had to substitute peppercini for the banana peppers. Thanks Rachael!

Finger licking good! Need toasted Bread to get all the good sauces.

I pulled the flavor off the chicken.

I like the method, and it was fun to see my son's face after seeing bricks in a pan. However, my son and I don't eat the skin, so we pulled most of the flavor off the chicken. My husband loved it. The chicken was moist, but I'm not sure I'll make this again.

Great tasting chicken

I am always looking for new chicken recipes and this one takes the cake. It came out moist, flavorful and beautiful to look at. The golden brown color was incredible. My husband, who is not a chicken lover (except for fried) loved it and wants me to make it again, soon. We did not make the salad to go with it but will the next time

I saw this episode on Saturday and just had to try it the next day. It is so fast and easy to prepare, and the taste is incredibly good. I was afraid that I'd burn the outsides of the chicken thighs before the insides cooked fully, but I followed the recipe exactly to a perfect result. I'm a man who loves to cook easy, highly flavorful recipes; Rachel Ray never lets me down.

Nothing Left

This was super easy and very good. I had to substitute a can of chopped tomatoes with chilis and a jar of jalapeno jelly for the banana pepper rings and pepper juice, the tomatoes and jelly were in the pantry. I served it with rice and the salad. My husband and son could not stop eating. There were no leftovers left over!

Pretty Good

I only cooked the chicken and bread. It wasn't spicy at all so you may want to add more pepper flakes. The measurements for the marinade will not be quite enough.I added about one more tablespoon of mustard.I was surprised that chicken did cook through in 20 minutes.Even the big pieces.

Tasty but a lot of effort

This is a tasty recipe and it is certainly spicy which we love but it's a lot more effort than a "30 minute" meal. You've really got to babysit it.

Dissapointing

I followed the recipe exactly but it didn't turn out very good. The cooking times were way off, luckily I used a meat thermometer, otherwise we would have had raw chicken in the middle. Once it was done we found the flavors didn't go through the chicken at all so it was very bland. I will not make this again.

A bit underwhelming

I loved the browning that the chicken got cooking under the brick, but the sauce was not nearly as spicy as my husband expected and he had to add a lot more spice to get flavor. The salad dressing is a great technique that I use all the time now!

great!

This turned out really well despite sitting on my stovetop for over an hour! My husband and kids were late and I was afraid it would be dried out but it was soooo good! What a hit with everyone including my 2 yr old! I did have to add a little more pepper juice since the skillet was almost dry, but other then that, it was awesome! I used a whole cut up chicken I had since everyone likes a different part of the chicken...the cooking time was a little longer then stated but I find that a lot with her recipes.

What a great meal!

Delicious! The chicken came out perfect - juicy and tasty. The salad was refreshing, but my favorite was the bread soaked in the juice - wow! This one is a winner.

fun, flavorful and super easy!

I will definitely make this again. I used 2 large breasts and adjusted the cooking time a little longer (30 min) as they were really thick. The skin crisped up and kept the chicken moist. The flavor was more tangy rather than spicy. I would have liked to have had more sauce and served with rice-will do next time...as RR would say...YUMO!

Delish!!!!

I thought the recipe sounded good when I saw it on 30 minute meals. I made it thinking a could reheat it for dinner. I smelled so good that I ate it for lunch and finished it off for dinner. I can't wait to make it again for friends.

I made this recipe tonight using chicken breasts, and it was a hit! The chicken turned out tender and juicy, and the banana peppers really give the chicken a nice zing. The orange poppy seed dressing with the arugula salad was light and fruity. I plan to consider this one of our family favorites...so nice to fix something that both the kids and adults enjoy!

Excellent Recipe!

I tried this chicken recipe using 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts. They were fabulous - my only tip would be to watch the time - the chicken can dry out quickly if you overcook even one minute longer. also, since i don't have any bricks, i used a couple of big tomato sauce cans to weigh the pan down. Works great! The best part is mopping up the drippings with bread!
