Delicious. I made the gravy and meatballs the day before to cut down time in kitchen. (besides that, it has time to marinate in fridge) Someone asked about putting uncooked meatballs in gravy. The recipe wasn't specific but I put them in raw and cooked them in the gravy.

I only saw the end of this show. Did Mary drop those meatballs UNcooked into the gravy? Or was there something missing from the recipe about how to cook the meatballs?

Now this is what lasagna and meatballs and sauce "gravy" are supposed to taste like, fantastic! Please, oh please, let Robin Miller read this recipe.

This is a wonderfully flavorful recipe but be prepared its not a "fast and easy" recipe. I used store bought noodles, cooked them for about 6 minutes, dipped them in icewater and drained them on a towel. They worked perfectly. I got rave reviews from everyone on the taste. The meatball recipe is worth keeping they are fantastic.

I made this lasagna for my husband's birthday. It was well worth the effort. I did not make the pasta, used fresh, store-bought lasagna sheets instead. The gravy is tremendously flavorful. The meatballs are delicious and the whole thing put together is a showstopper. Highly recommended.
