This was Great!! 08/29/2007 at 01:22pm User: Marina from Visalia, CA User Rating: This is a great twist from your typical burgers. My kids loved them and the flavor was outstanding!!! Messy...and I liked that! 08/27/2007 at 05:48pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I didn't make the succotash, but I certainly made and totally enjoyed the burgers. The sauce had a fantastic flavor. I love sweet and spicey flavors together. Here they blend beautifully. The burgers were huge and juicy, the flavor benefitting from the fresh parsley. Messy but tasty! 08/24/2007 at 02:49am User: Lynne from Redding, CA User Rating: I made this for dinner tonight and thought it was quite good. The burgers were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The tomato sauce topping was quite tasty. I served it open faced on the toasted muffin. Yes, it was messy, but when eaten with knife and fork was not much different than eating regular burgoo. The succotash was really good, the hot sauce gave it a pleasant kick. I would serve it again. No good 08/22/2007 at 04:51pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Too messy. Burgoo Burgers 03/24/2008 at 10:16pm User: JULIET from Denver, CO User Rating: Made this for dinner and it was really yummy. Nothing overly special about the burgers (granted, I did not use pork) but the sauce was quite yummy. I did not make the succotash. If you like this recipe you really need to try Rachael's Sloppy Joes, there are alot of flavor similarities! Thanks! Kentucky Burgoo Burgers and Southern Succotash 03/18/2008 at 06:32pm User: Anonymous User Rating: It turned out wonderfully my friends wanted the recipes. My mom and dad (who never eat any thing that is new) wanted to have the recipe to eat later. I am so happy to have made this meal. Burgers only 03/11/2008 at 08:59pm User: Sara from Forest Hills, NY User Rating: I only made the burgers and they were just ok. The meat was dry and the sauce was so-so. There are so many good burger recipes out there. I would skip this one. |
