My guests really enjoyed it 07/04/2008 at 07:37pm User: Jonathan from Keller, TX User Rating: Really an easy recipe to execute. I've always enjoyed my asparagus grilled with olive oil and kosher salt and pepper, but this was a nice change of pace. However, in the future we will not use the green peppercorn, but rather capers. A Keeper 06/17/2008 at 06:35pm User: Betty from Morehead City, NC User Rating: This was a definite keeper! Only change I made was roasting the asparagus instead of grilling. I made this for my best friend's son who was graduating from high school along with fabulous filet mignons. Everyone said it was a great decision since we had decided not to go to one of the nations best steak houses. Next time I will try it with capers instead of green peppercorns since I always have capers on hand. Fantastic Vinaigrette 06/03/2008 at 09:12am User: Gene from Centreville, VA User Rating: This was a very simple dish to make. Beacause the Asparagus looked bad at my local market I used Brussel Sprouts instead. I just cut them in half and grilled them on the grill. I also did not realize I was out of DiJohn mustard and used a sweet creamy mustard and added horsradish to it. I was told that this dish was resturant quality by my guest. You cant ask for a better compliment then that for non home chef. |
