Very simple... 12/31/2007 at 04:59pm User: ELIZABETH from Lake Worth, FL User Rating: This is a very basic recipe. It's easy and delicious, but I would suggest doing something else to it. Super easy 12/28/2007 at 09:03pm User: Bridget from Aston, PA User Rating: This recipe was so easy and comes out great with the pickles.Make them every holiday awsome deviled eggs 11/21/2007 at 04:18pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I just finished making Paula Deans recipe on deviled eggs.. they came out wonderful.. When I was a little girl... 09/28/2007 at 11:04am User: P from arlington, TX User Rating: Taste just like the one's my grandmother and mother used to make when I was a little girl. Thanks Paula. Paige Arlington Wonderful and traditional 09/13/2007 at 01:34am User: Jenny from Hampton, VA User Rating: Dear Mrs. Paula, Thank you for this wonderful recipe. It tastes just like southern deviled eggs should-not too fancy or complicated. I added a little more juice from my pickle relish to make it a little more tangy and then used a freezer bag with a corner cut off to pipe it into the eggs (I am so messy with the yolks otherwise). Deviled Eggs 09/02/2007 at 05:36am User: Anonymous User Rating: Wonderful flavor for such few ingredients. Plain & Simply Good 09/01/2007 at 10:57am User: Jack from Chesterfield, MO User Rating: Some things just taste great together with a few ingredients of the right measurement. The Best Deviled Eggs on Earth!!! 05/04/2008 at 04:21pm User: Demetrius from Mt.Juliet, TN User Rating: I know that the South is known for great down-home cooking (I'm from TN), but Paula Deen's deviled egg recipe is awesome! I've had other deviled eggs, but they were always so dry & pasty. Paula's recipe will have you wondering why you didn't make more than what you did when they're all gone! Thanks, Paula!!! Delicious! 05/03/2008 at 06:44pm User: Anthony from Los Angeles, CA User Rating: Absolutely perfect! So simple to make and so heavenly to eat! I used fat free mayo and it was great, for those who are looking to keep their girlish figure! I don't like relish in deviled eggs 04/01/2008 at 11:54am User: Anonymous User Rating: I like deviled eggs with mayo, mustard, garlic powder, not with sweet pickle relish. Paprika for decoration is fine. Carol's review 03/30/2008 at 09:01pm User: null from null, null User Rating: These are very good, but could be perfect if they had a little onion powder in them. I like to decorate mine with sliced black olives, and green onion, along with the paprika. But, these are good, I just like the onion powder. try adding olives 03/24/2008 at 09:18pm User: Jennifer from Boca Raton, FL User Rating: I also use diced Mt. Olive dill pickles (instead of sweet relish) and a little extra pickle juice for tang. A friend of mine always adds diced olives as her secret ingredient, so I added some olive tapenade to this recipe, and everybody thought it was excellent! A first for me! 03/23/2008 at 05:13pm User: Lisa from Hubert, NC User Rating: All my life I have HATED deviled eggs. I thought they were disgusting, but I grudgingly made them for my family when we had a glut of Easter Eggs or for birthdays. I always try them (how can I tell my kids to try stuff when I won't, right?). What a pleasant surprise these are! Finally, some deviled eggs I like! Thanks, Paula! Wonderful Eggs 03/23/2008 at 11:35am User: Stephanie from Jacksboro, TN User Rating: This is actually the same way my grandmother makes deviled eggs. It is a great recipe. Recipe not written how she prepared it on the show 02/16/2008 at 01:25am User: Ellen from Port Orchard, WA User Rating: This recipe is great, but according to Paula's cooking on the show, this recipe was not written correctly. She uses one of the boiled eggs and mashes it up to make the filling more "full." It will then yield the traditional dozen eggs, not 14. Best ever 02/09/2008 at 11:08pm User: Anonymous User Rating: These are the best deviled eggs I had. I will make these again. The south is good! 02/05/2008 at 05:00pm User: Denisse from Fayetteville, NC User Rating: me being from Tx I was definately expecting these to be good, and they stood up to my requirements! Everyone loved them even me, and that's because I'm not a fan of any type of relish. awesome 02/01/2008 at 08:25pm User: kyle from ignacio, CO User Rating: JUST LIKE MY GRANDMA USE TO MAKE Great Recipe 01/31/2008 at 09:34pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made this for a potluck party and it was great! Even better with dill pickles 01/25/2008 at 12:47pm User: Bernadine from Haysi, VA User Rating: My family likes deviled eggs more tangy, so I reduce the mayo a little and add some dill pickle juice and use dill pickle relish or finely diced dill pickles ( Mt Olive brand is good). My husband calls eggs made with sweet pickles (or sugar added) "Angel Eggs". Enjoy your show Paula. excellent recipe 01/21/2008 at 09:59am User: Anonymous User Rating: very good and easy to make simly outstanding 01/15/2008 at 09:57am User: coy from victoria, TX User Rating: simple and tasty, paula makes it easy for us.not everyone can afford expensive ingredients like truffles and saffron..we love paula and rachel...thanx paula, from a workin single dad... Love this recipe, but it's not only Southern. 01/13/2008 at 06:10pm User: Susan from Belchertown, MA User Rating: I have eaten deviled eggs, prepared just this way, all of my life and I'm from New England. I'm not sure that Paula realizes that we have many of these recipes in other parts of the country as well and they are often the same of quite similar. She often indicates in the titles of many of her recipes that that they are "Southern" and I've eaten many of them all my life, up here in Massachusetts! Who knows where they originated! :-) very traditional 01/13/2008 at 05:35pm User: tabatha from burns, TN User Rating: great traditional recipe. i liked the idea she gave on the show to drain the liquid off the relish this makes for a much thicker filling. thanks paula christmas dinner 01/09/2008 at 07:41pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I used this recipe for christmas. I used the egglands best already hard boiled eggs to make it supper simple. It was a hit. |
