tasty flavor, not crunchy 08/24/2008 at 01:41pm User: Anonymous User Rating: the flavor was good. They were not crunchy, as I expected. The ends of many of them burned... even though i took them out 10 minutes earlier than the recipe called for. I will likely cut them thicker next time. Sweet Delish 08/24/2008 at 11:58am User: Jessica from Milwaukee, WI User Rating: These were great. Both my husband and I gobbled them up. We had them with the Stuffed Turkey Burgers. Next time I will cook them for about 5 minutes less (a few ended up burned). Also, made them and dusted with cinnamon and sugar for a sweet treat Sweet potato fries 01/12/2008 at 03:30pm User: Anonymous User Rating: These fries were really delicious. The only problem that I ran into was that some of them burned while other were still soggy. I will need to pay more attention to how I am cutting them next time. I too made a low fat mayo dip with canola mayo, lemon juice, garlic, and basil. Fantastic thanks! Soggy fries 01/07/2008 at 07:59pm User: Anonymous User Rating: No matter what ever time i put fries in the oven they always turn out soggy and stuck to the pan. It's frustrating. Very delicious. 01/04/2008 at 10:36am User: Anonymous User Rating: I liked these "fries". I am always on a lookout for a healthy way to prep. veggies for my toddler. Thanks a lot for this recipe!! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE HOW GOOD 11/09/2007 at 11:48am User: arlla from houston, TX User Rating: I TRIED THESE BECAUSE I AM TRYING TO WATCH WHAT I EAT. I DO NOT AS A RULE LIKE SWEET POTATOES OR YAMS OF ANY KIND. SO I WAS VERY SKEPTICAL. BUT I MADE THESE FRIES AND I THOUGHT MY HUSBAND AND I WERE GOING TO FIGHT EACH OTHER OVER THESE THINGS. I MADE A DIP FOR THEM USING LOW FAT MAYO, GARLIC, LEMON JUICE AND CILANTRO. OMG, THEY WERE FANTASTIC. YOU HAVE TO TRY THEM. CUT THEM THIN, AND TURN THEM ABOUT 1/2 WAY THRU. THEY ARE GREAT. Awesome 11/07/2007 at 07:57pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Make these with the stuffed turkey burgers and you will be in heaven (healthy heaven that is)!!! Sweet Potato Fries 09/15/2007 at 09:30pm User: Elia from Lyons, IL User Rating: I made this recipe and cut the sweet potato fries thinner than a 1/4 in. and they came out awesome! Limp, Limp, Limp 09/13/2007 at 02:56pm User: Margaret from Pensacola, FL User Rating: I expect anything calling itself "fries" to have crispy goodness. These things were completely limp. If you like the taste of sweet potatoes you could enjoy them, but don't expect them to be like fries. Good Flavor but Soggy 09/09/2007 at 07:32pm User: Michelle from West Harrison, IN User Rating: These were really good, and very easy to make! They never really got crisp though. They were a bit mushy. But my husband sure loved them! Good & easy to make 09/08/2007 at 10:04pm User: Christelle from Aurora, IL User Rating: The sweet potato fries were good, but mine too never got crispy. I think it definitely has to do with the thickness of the cut of the fries. They were delicious. My 8 yr. old liked them; my husband, who is just getting on board with healthy eating, said they were good, but he had to get used to the taste. Overall, good. Be sure to watch the fries, as they will burn on the ends. Definitely a keeper. AWESOME!!!!!! 09/08/2007 at 08:57pm User: Matt from Colorado Springs, GA User Rating: Elie your sweet potato fries are awesome!!!!!!!!!! I'm your bigest fan! We LOVE you Elie!!!!!!!!!!!1 Good but not crispy 09/08/2007 at 03:36pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I followed the recipe, but could not get the fries to become crispy. After leaving them in a bit longer they began to burn. The majority of them were great though. My husband and 3 year old loved them. |
