It is time consuming, but easy to make. I was so impressed with the end results, as was everyone who ate it! Tip: do not overmix the mousse! This was my first time making a mousse and I mixed it past the "stiff peak" stage to a watery chunky mess!! I baked for 25 minutes exactly would take out a few minutes earlier next time. I would also make 1 1/2 batches of the mousse. I thought the cake to mousse ratio was lacking. It's a lot of work but will make again with the changes. |
