This made for a fantastic dinner. It came out flavorful, light and crunchy. I put the finished chicken on a rack to cool while I finished the rest so it wouldn't get soggy laying on a baking sheet. The salad on top was a great idea. My husband loved it and he normally doesn't comment on the food I make. This is definately a keeper.

I've been making this recipe for years and it's a family favorite. I always have fresh lemon wedges to squeeze over the chicken. It adds a lovely fresh tang. I've never served a green salad over the top, might be worth try.

Don't let the intermediate difficulty stop you from making this chicken. I found it to be easy to make, quick to cook, and very good. My husband loved it. I have also used chicken cutlets so I do not have to pound the chicken breast.

If you like lemon; this is the recipe for you! The only thing I'd recommend is to pour the salad dressing slowly; the lemon flavor is strong but good; so you might want a little less than it's called for. The olive oil is key-you MUST use a high quality olive oil or the dressing won't taste as good.

I made this recipe tonight for dinner but instead with the greens I made spaghetti and marinara sauce. So yummy! You can add almost anything with the chicken. I'm planning on whipping up some mashed potatoes with the left over chicken later this week. I'm also going to try it with some red pepper flakes in the bread crumbs since I like things a little spicier.

This is very tasty, and easy to prepare. The only change I made was to use a Champagne Vinegar for the vinaigrette instead of lemon, because that is my personal preference. I love the contrast of the cool salad and the warm chicken (which turns out moist and delicious). I use this recipe on a regular basis now, and my family loves it. We love Ina!

I'm very new to cooking in general and this is an absolutely fabulous dinner! I used frozen skinless, boneless chicken breasts and cooked them on a George Foreman grill before slathering them in the crust and frying them. They came out juicy, tender and very flavorful. My boyfriend, who is generally not a fan of trying new things, loved it! I drizzled the lemon vinageratte over my chicken and raw baby spinach leaves and it was very yummy. Defintely reccommend!

I made the chicken according to Ina's recipe and improvised by slicing it on top of a a salad of baby greens (inspired by a local Italian deli in Niwot). Served the greens and chicken with crumbled feta, artichokes, grilled red pepper and a balsamic dressing. My family LOVED the meal and asked me when I'd make it again. Pretty great for guys who aren't big chicken fans!

Overall this was a really nice fresh tasting dinner, but a little too much lemon for our tastes. I also used panko bread crumbs but otherwise followed the recipe. I will make this again and again and just mellow out the dressing a little.

This chicken has the best flavor and it was so easy to make! The only thing I would do differently is add a bit more salt to the outside of the chicken when it was cooking--but this is just a personal "salt" preference. The salad dressing was fresh, light, and perfect with the chicken.

I had this dish at a friends house for a girls luncheon and everyone inhaled it! It is such an elegant dish and the lemon vinaigrette coated greens make it perfect! I made it for my family and added edible flowers to make it pretty for summer and they loved the look as well as the taste. This is a beautiful, elegant and tasty summer meal!

I love the recipe with the lemon greens on top but since I have a picky fiance who doesnt like it, we usually just have it without the greens. That is a mistake. Oddly enough, it just doesnt taste "parmesan-y" enough for me without the lemony greens ontop. They really do make the dish.

Sometimes, just for a change, I put some baby spinach on top of each breast, just before they are done, with a little parm cheese sprinkled on top, cover til spinach wilts then serve--adds a nice flavor and looks beautiful. This is a perfect recipe for an easy weeknight dinner or if you have a few friends over. The chicken is very easy to cook and is quick! The coating is crispy and flavorful and the meat is tender. The combination of the green salad on top with the lemon vinaigrette dressing makes for a huge flavor explosion. The only thing I added extra to my dressing was 1 clove of pressed garlic just because I love garlic a lot. But, the dressing would be great either way. I'll be making this again and again for sure. We had 1 piece of chicken left over and I made it into a parmesan chicken sandwich with some of the tossed salad. It was wonderful. By the way, the kids liked it too!

I have been making this for yeras. It's so versitile and can be used in many different recipe's. Try it with topped with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. Make few extra and use them to make delicious chicken and cheese sandwiches.

After reading all the reviews I was super excited about this dish. While I was very impressed with the tenderness of the chicken, I thought it lacked flavor. I will make this again, but I will increase the salt in the flour and grated parmesan.

WOW, this was so quick, easy, and delish! My husband raved about it thru dinner. I made only one small change to the recipe. Since breadcrumbs come plain without any seasonings, here in Holland, I added salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the breadcrumb/Parmesan mixture. It added just the right amount of flavor. I can think of a multitude of ways this chicken dish can be used for dinner. As a side dish to some type of pasta, sliced in to strips on top of a salad. It is a multi-tasker for sure! I have made this chicken at least 5 times. It is great moist and juicy. The first time I made it with the salad. ( Great as well). The reason I didn't give it five stars was because it took much longer to cook than the 2-3 min that the recipe states.

This recipe is fabulous. It is full of flavor, simple to make, and is impossible not to love. This is perfect for entertaining because it appeals to everyone. Sometimes when I make it I serve it over spaghetti and top the chicken with slices of fresh mozzarella and cover it all with marinara for a chicken parmigiano. It's excellent for that. I love this recipe!

Loved this recipe. As a teacher, I need to have easy, yummy recipes for week nights. This receives an A+ from me. Be sure that the is thin. Buy thin cutlets or be sure to pound it thin. Serve the salad greens on top. I added red onion and black olives from the olive selection at my local market.

This was excellent. I followed the recipe exactly. I cooked this on a grill pan to get the grill marks on the chicken. This was the best chicken I have ever made. The chicken was tender and juicy. I reheated the chicken the next day and tossed into a salad. Tasted great even the next day.

I cooked the parmesan chicken for my husband and I. We both agreed that it would be hard to top this chicken recipe. I had first thought that the parmesan cheese might be a bit over powering to the chicken, but it has just the right amount of bread crumbs and cheese. It was not complicated at all, or time consuming for that matter. It would be a wonderful dish to fix to "wow" a special guest. We loved it!!

The chicken was very moist and the recipe was pretty easy. However, make sure you pound your chicken very thin. It took me a while to get the chicken done in the middle. I am not very experienced in pan cooking whole chicken breasts, but next time I will know how to do it and this dish will be even better!

My family does not like chicken breasts - - too dry. Were they surprised when I served this! My husband raved it was the moistest chicken ever. The greens were a great complement to the chicken. I might try a little more parmesan cheese next time and a dash of chili powder.

I made this recipe the same day the show aired. Normally, I need some advance planning but the beauty of this recipe is that you likely have all ingredients on hand. My family loved it. This would make a very good dish for entertaining because it is quick and easy. Make sure your chicken is pounded thin to speed up cooking

I make this for myself all the time and with a little garlic powder added to the bread crumb/parm mixture, it's delicious! I don't always use the lemon vinegrette but the salad is a delicious contrast to the chicken!

I made this dinner for my family from start to finish in about 20 min. I saved time by buying thin sliced chicken breast and was able to skip the pounding step alltogether. The breading is simple and delicious and the salad on top was raved about in my home. It was the perfect accompiment. Might I add that my family includes 3 children between 1 and 7 who are very picky eaters. Complete crowdpleaser that is now in my regular week night dinner rotation.

I followed the recipe almost exactly. I substituted panko for the dry bread crumbs. I also added some fresh peas I had on hand to the salad greens. This was absolutely delicious! I loved the lemon vinegarette. This was a great weeknight recipe - it came together easily and the whole family loved it. I'll definitely make this again.

This recipe turned out perfect. I used chicken tenders instead of whole chicken breast, but otherwise kept the recipe as is. It turned out flavorful and the breading cooked up nice and crunchy. I served it with salad and wild rice on the side.

This recipe was good, but to me it didn't have the "Wow" factor that Ina's recipes usually have. But, my dinner guests said it was the best parmesan chicken they have ever eaten. The salad was an excellent accompaniment to the chicken - I was suprised! Make sure you serve the salad on the chicken just like the recipe says. It makes the dish.

I made this for dinner the other night and everyone raved about it. Instead of pounding the chicken I bought ready-sliced chicken breast filets and those worked just fine. Try not to touch them or flip them more than you need to or else the coating will come off.

another winner from ina. this is the best chicken parm recipe ever. you can make it a lite supper as ina did with a green salad, or make it a miss piggy meal as i often do with inas buttermilk mashed potatoes, and roasted vegetables. this recipe can be served hot, cold, or room temperature. a must for everyone.

I've made this recipe 4 times and it turns out perfect every time. One time I forgot to mix the cheese with the breadcrumbs. After frying I shaved the cheese on top before placing it in the 200 oven. It was just as good. I also used Italian style bread crumbs which gives another level of flavor. It's also great cold for lunch if there are any leftovers!

I have attempted to make breaded chicken before and it has never worked. Either the breading doesn't stick or it becomes a soggy mess. This recipe was so easy to follow and to make, and it turned out perfectly! I don't know what Ina had me do differently but the breading was crisp, stayed on the chicken and left the chicken very juicy and moist inside. My husband and I polished off a whole package of chicken cutlets on our own! And the salad was a perfect addition. I loved the tartness of the lemons with the saltiness of the parmesan. I served this with sauteed broccolini and smashed potatoes. This one is definitely going in my rotation. And its fancy enough to entertain with!

Easy, quick, and very flavorful. I do agree with others that the temperature needs to be watched carefully. Unfortunately it is a fine balance between a burnt or soggy exterior to achieve that perfect, crispy crust. But I love the contrast of the cool, lemony salad greens with the warm, juicy chicken. Another thing left off the recipe from the show is that Ina shaved the parmesan on top - this gives a nicer presentation if you're making for guests.
