I used rice that I already had on hand and thought the recipe was absolutely wonderful. The raisins and cashews were a great touch. I didn't use the chicken broth, but used water for my rice. I used all the other ingredients. For those other reviewers that complained about the rice; just do what I did and use the rice you normally use.

I added a little more cinnamon, and my family liked it. Have to make rice exactly right. Very good.




Crumbly Rice?

I must admit I had never tried the instant rice before and when I made it, I reminded myself why. It broke up when the dish was combined and it felt like little pebbles in my mouth. I do like the cashews and raisins and will use them with regular rice. The other flavors were great but not with that pebbly crumbly rice.




We also found it totally tasteless

My family disliked the rice. Lacked taste and texture. The raisins were hard and the nuts too soft, somehow, too.

I made this recipe according to directions. I found it tasty and with good fluffy consistency. Will make it again this weekend.

The rice was mushy and didn't have much taste. I don't recommend it.
