Excellent and easy to make 07/02/2008 at 12:44am User: Anonymous User Rating: I loved it! I accidentally picked really hot jalapeno peppers but I loved it, my boyfriend couldn't handle the heat though! Great Summer Snack 06/05/2008 at 04:49pm User: mark from guelph, AL User Rating: Enjoyed these with burgers and were a wonderful side dish that the party loved. They are something different, but something that everyone will probably enjoy. Thanks Bobby! Firecracker of a starter 05/25/2008 at 02:39pm User: jeff from round rock, TX User Rating: we whipped these up one afternoon afetr seeing them on "Boy Meets Grill". they were such a hit, we now are making them our cul-de-sac block party preferred starter. the grilled red pepper and tomato sause is just about a perfect blend of heat afnd flavor to accent the dish and liven it up. Great idea! 04/16/2008 at 10:46pm User: Darren from Houston, TX User Rating: I didn't follow the recipe exactly, but I used the method to create my own version. I only used cream cheese and I sauteed chopped garlic, chopped bacon bits and chopped red onions. I then mixed all that, including the grease, into the cream cheese and stuffed that into the jalepenos. Topped with the chili powder and grated parmesian cheese. It was freaking awesome! Thanks for the idea Bobby. You are my favorite chef. Easy and Excellent... 02/22/2008 at 08:21pm User: JOHN from Raleigh, NC User Rating: This is such an easy recipe and the finished product turned out great even without the sauce underneath. Suggestions... Make only have the recipe unless you have a lot of people to feed. Ensure your cream cheese mixture is soft before grilling if you made it a day or so before hand. So delicious 02/13/2008 at 09:33pm User: Staci from San Francisco, CA User Rating: It's actually five stars for the chilis. The sauce was just okay in my opinion. My boyfriend whipped up a tastier light avocado sauce that went better with it. But the chilis- woooooooooooow. So delicious. I used anaheim chilis- the bigger chili relleno chilis. For the mixture, I stuck with the recipe 100% and wouldn't change a thing. Sooo good. Awesome! 10/12/2007 at 01:34pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Tried these as an appetizer in a pinch. Very simple. My peppers were a bit small and posed a bit of a grill grate problem, but the end result was great! I love spicy and like Mr. Flay said, these are actually very mild with a bit of a bite. I'll definitely be cooking these again SOON! |
