After reading all the great reviews, I was very disappointed with this soup. It was very bland and unremarkable. Are all of the other reviewers that easily impressed? They must not cook much.

Better than Wolfgang's!

This was a huge hit for my family. I'm still in high school but i was able to make this. To make things heartier for my brother I just addded some precooked ground beef which really made it good.

easy and delicious!

I have been using this recipe for 4 years now. It is quick and easy and makes a big pot of soup that never lasts long in my household. I would increase the chicken broth by at least 50%, as the veggies and pasta soak up the liquid quickly. You won't be disappointed.

This soup was excellent, although I did make a few small changes. I used red onion instead of yellow and a small can of diced tomatoes instead of a big one, to make it a bit lighter. Since I'm vegetarian, I used veggie stock rather than chicken. It reheats well, which is good because it makes A LOT of soup. Definitely something I'll make again.

The flavors are pure north-end Boston. Can't get more Italian than that without going to Italy. This is comfort food.

This is a wonderful minestrone recipe. I made this for a potluck luncheon at work and came home with a big empty pot. Lots of rave reviews - the heartiest from my Italian boss!! Have made this again already and have added it to my soup collection.

this was the first time I have ever made Ministrone so i followed the recipe to the T. this recipe was full of flavor; however, the veggies needed to cook a little longer than the recipe stated. I have put some notes on the recipe to change but in all i will make this recipe again.
