This wonderful soup is a meal in itself, and is better than any restaurant version I've ever had. It's especially good on a cold day. I've made a double batch and frozen the soup to defrost and use later with fresh cheese and toasted bread. Thank you, Sara, for another great recipe.

This is Julia Child's recipe from MtAoFC exactly. I just made it a few days ago, and I'm shocked that it is duplicated here without proper credit. It is still a wonderful recipe.
