Fantastic Flavor, a lot of oil

The flavor was out of this world. It was just like getting sausage and peppers out at the fair, just magnified in flavor. The garlic and tomatoes were the touch that took it over the top. Even my picky hubby took seconds. I made this because I was looking for something to do with my Italian Sausage. I substituted red and green peppers that had on hand for the yellow. I didn't have any cherry tomatoes or hot peppers, so I used 2 cans of drained Rotel instead. The onion/pepper mixture was very greasy for my taste. Next time I will try using less oil but I won't drain the Rotel. I think the soft succulent veggies need enough liquid to cook in.

Great!

I cooked the peppers and onions a little longer than stated...wanted them soft. It was great!

I am used to sauce with my sausage and peppers. I tried this receipe and was knocked out. VERY TASTY. There was alot of liquid on the pan and I did drain it once, but still delicious. Do not forget to add the tomatoes, great surprise.

In my opinion, this is best way to cook sausage. And, the roasted vegetables were awesome! It's a staple in my house!!

This recipe for sausage and peppers is the best tasting I ever had. Puts all this stuff you get at the fairs and attractions to shame. Nothing special was used for my tryout. I cooked the sausage too long on the grill but what was amazing was the flavor of the peppers, onion and seasoning combination. This recipe will be on standby for me from now on.

The best peppers and onions ever!

WE MADE THIS FOR DINNER AND IT WAS OUTSTANDING! JUST AS MICHAEL SAID BY POACHING THE SAUSAGES THEN BROWNING THEM ON THE GRILL THEY WERE SO JUICY. THE PEPPERS AND ONIONS ROASTED IN THE OVEN WERE GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT BY THEMSELF. PLUS IT WAS SO EASY TO MAKE...DEFINATELY A KEEPER
