I like to grill and I always cook Brats, so any new ideas to fix them is great. It is easy to perpare and is full of flavor. It something I can do this with my kids and they would like to do it.

I think the previous reviewer missed the point. The recipe was not trying to duplicate or upstage the traditional way Germans enjoy thier Brats - it was mearly another way to enjoy an already good food.

Germans don't eat peppers and onions to their Bratwurst - that's just what Americans think they do or what they themselves do. I'm German and I was to various parts of our country - I never saw somebody eating a Bratwurst with peppers and onions. This was new to me as I saw it in the US! Germans normally eat their Bratwurst with mustard. If they don't eat it on a plate with knife and fork, they eat the Bratwurst on a roll (for example on the many fairs). But you will find nothing besides the Bratwurst and the mustard on the roll!
