Incredible ribs! 06/20/2008 at 02:12am User: Dusty from Salem, OR User Rating: I used this recipe for a party and it was a total success! These ribs went so fast and left people asking for more! From the dry rub to the sauce, it is excellent! Better without the basting sauce 05/04/2008 at 02:55pm User: Nadine from Spring, TX User Rating: The basting sauce did nothing for these fabulous ribs. The dry rub recipe made waaaaaay more than what was needed. Overall the ribs were very tasy, moist, and fell right off the bone. If I were to do these again I would baste with my personal favorite sauce Sweet Baby Rays. A Real Knockout!! 04/27/2008 at 10:00am User: Lisa from Mebane, NC User Rating: Easy recipe with outstanding results! The rub recipe makes much more than you need for the recipe but it freezes well. My husband asks for this weekly since the first time I made it!! Great Recipe 04/09/2008 at 06:21pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Made these ribs and my family loved them. I did not use as much salt as was suggested. I thought the reciped called for too much. My family liked the sauce however, I wasn't to fond of it. I will make them again using the dry rub and try a different sauce. But all in all they were pretty darn tasty. Great! 04/01/2008 at 01:22pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Got tons of compliments on these ribs. I will maka again & again. Those Deen's and their BBQ!! 03/19/2008 at 05:20pm User: Leanne from Dallas, TX User Rating: YUMMMM. I was always get down about doing barbeques because I'm not very experienced and usually just bring the sides - but I've really WOWed friends with this recipe, deeelish. If you like this recipe, give The Deen Brothers Chicken recipe - it's to die for! Wonderful 03/15/2008 at 06:18pm User: Tom from Linden, NC User Rating: This is the first time I used a b-b-que recipe from anyone other than me! I used it on grilled chicken. It was amazing!! I added some burbon, it smelled kind-of weird after the 20 min. simmer, but after cooking; it smelled and tasted wonderful! I will use this recipe for many more dishes and keep ya'll up-to-date! I love Paula's simplicity and great taste! Great Ribs 01/13/2008 at 01:16pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I'm not sure what the negative reviews were about because i've made these ribs twice and so far they were absolutely GREAT.It worth the work because they come out Fantastic. Like the other reviewer I basted the ribs with the bbq sauce after they cooked and put them back into the oven uncovered on a rack for an additional 25 minutes to let the sauce cook through. My family loves these ribs and they will definatley be a keeper at my house. Very Good 01/12/2008 at 02:52pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Very Good Way Too Salty 01/10/2008 at 04:10pm User: susan from orange park, FL User Rating: I am salt sensitive and these ribs were much too salty and peppery for me. I wound up rinsing the cooked ribs under hot water to make them somewhat edible. Easy & Yummy Ribs 01/03/2008 at 05:33pm User: Jeannine from Wichita Falls, TX User Rating: I tried this recipe out on New Year's Day and the ribs were wonderful. I made the rub recipe as instructed, and had over half left, so for two slabs of ribs next time I will only make half of the rub recipe. Also, instead of firing up the grill, after they baked I basted them with the sauce and baked them uncovered on a rack in the oven for the last 20 minutes. |
