Well I made these yesterday and they came out solid as a rock! Very hard and very difficult to eat. I think that something is missing from the recipe.Too much flour and very little liquid. I will not make them again!

cosi' cosi'. These are not exactly baba. The syrup is good, but the cakes are more like brioche than what I used to have in naples. Baba are more like a sponge cake that are oozing with the syrup. These are difficult to soak, and the syrup should be tripled.
