The dough doesn't come together well, the dough has very little flavor and the stawberries lose their color when they cook and were tasteless. Perhaps the dough needs a pinch of salt. I sprinkled a little sugar over the dough and strawberries after it was cooked. It helped a little.
Also, the crostata didn't get done in the prescribed amount of time in the recipe. I had to cook it another 15 minutes. A friend suggested that perhaps a higher temperature would have worked better.
I threw out most of it. I love crostatas and have made several good ones. This one isnt good.
