The bread pudding recipe was really good and it did make a pretty show. I did not have chocolate croissants, just regular ones but they were stil good. I find they need to really rest in the pudding for a while before baking so that they can absorb all that flavor. I used vanilla pudding because i am not a fan of butterscotch, but it was a good substitue. Thank you!

I made this for a party tonight. I couldn't find chocolate croissant bread, so instead I used regular croissants and cinnamon bread. Also, I totally forgot to put the bananas in!! BUT it was still sooo very good! Everyone loved it. I will definetly make this again.

I made this to take to a potluck dinner for dessert. It looked really complicated but I had a couple of Betty Crocker butterscotch self-saucing puddings and heated them in the microwave. Made the croissant pudding with Italian chocolate croissants and it turned out beautifully. Putting it all together was easy. It was such a hit, everyone commented and there were no leftovers, they even licked the bowl. Absolutely to die for and a definite winner!

I made this for a party last night and it was almost gone in 2 hours. I used heath bar instead of snickers and bought the croissants from Traders joe's. Very good!

We used cinnamon rolls, croissants and almond croissants for this. I would suggest thoroughly mixing up the croissants with the liquid mixture before putting in the oven and letting it soak for 20 minutes. It was great! Completely indulgent!

This is an easy recipe to follow. However, a normal trifle bowl may not fit the entire recipe. So, use a LARGE bowl, or divide in half. I replaced the Snicker bars with Heath bars. The end product is delicious and makes a nice presentation.
