too much orange rind - the family thought it to taste bitter. I think it would be actually quite good if the orange rind were left out completely. Maybe add a little more sugar?

MY ICE CREAM MAKER WAS NOT COOPERATING. BUT EVEN SO, FOLLOWING ALL THE DIRECTIONS, THIS WAS A WASTE OF BOTH TIME & EGGS-----& WHY ALL THE EGG YOLKS ANYWAYS? THE AMOUNT OF ZEST WAS OVERBEARING,& BITTER [I DIDN'T USE THE PITH EITHER]. I'LL DEFINATELY STICK WITH GOOD OLD AMERICAN MADE ICE CREAM---THIS IS NOT A KEEPER.
