These fries are absolutely amazing--not to mention the dip! The fries are light (i.e., not weighed down by grease and yet have all the qualities of a great fry.

What a great idea - instead of white potatoes - the sweet ones are better for you anyway!

The flavor is amazing. I agree that I, too, could not make the fries crispy, so they were soft. But that didn't deter my friends from eating them and looking for more in their little cone! Oh, and if you had the chance to watch the show, Ingrid served them in a cone of wax paper and a color copy of game cards (for game night. I used Latin-influenced artwork instead. awesome.

I am not a sweet potato fan. These were totally off the hook. They were great. My husband and I totally loved them and they will defianetly be served again.

These tasted very good, but no matter how hard I tried, I could not get them to come out crunchy. They are more like sweet potato "bakes". I like crunchy fries, but these did not fit the bill. If you don't mind soft "fries", they are good.

I liked both the spicy sweet potatoes and avocado dip. I replaced the cream cheese in the avocado dip with silken tofu to reduce the fat and add some good protein. Will make both recipes again.
