I absolutely loved this recipe, but i put the sauce over pasta instead of cauliflower. My only negative feedback would be that 1 tsp of the red pepper flakes was way too hot!!!

Enjoyed this recipe very much. It could be that 1/2 teaspoon would be a better measure if you don't like side dishes screaming hot!

This is probably the only Giada recipe I wouldn't make it again.
Just average. And I am a cauliflower lover.

Have been searching for a cauliflower recipe and this is it! Made it with skim milk to make it "healthier" and we all loved it. Will definitely make this again and again and again.

Wonderful dish. Easy to prepare and I loved the kick from the red pepper flakes. I usually omit this ingredient out of fear of "heat" but no more!

I loved this dish - such a nice departure from plain old cauliflower. I modified it a little bit. After watching the show, it just looked like way too much cream sauce to still be considered a "vegetable" dish. So, I halved the bechamel and parmesan. It still worked beautifully. Also, it was quite spicy, and I only used half a teaspoon of red pepper flakes. (The rest of the spices I kept the same quantity. The pancetta is a delicious component!

My husband and I loved this dish. My grocery didn't have pancetta so I used bacon, but it was still fabulous. It was too spicy for my children though. I didn't think 1 tsp of red chili flakes would add so much heat. I will reduce that next time so the kids can enjoy the dish as well.

I am married to a fierce Cauliflower hater. I love it though and was happy to find a recipe that had enough good stuff in it to mellow out the cauliflower for him. He wasn't thrilled but he did have a helping and said it was the best cauliflower he'd ever had, but he still wouldn't want it on a regular basis! Go figure. I however thought it great! My cauliflower may have been a touch overdone so I think next time (someday I will skip the blancing part. This was truly "decadent" though and any cauliflower lover will like it.
