This recipe was equal to my granny's baked macaroni & cheese. But no guilt in eating it. Wow, this is the best way to eat boring cauliflower. Great as a side for the Christmas holiday table. Also a great way to a HappyMarriage4us.com.

I use this recipe but put in chunks of diced ham (not honey baked and serve it as a main dish with green vege's or salad on the side. My whole family love's this recipe.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was the big hit. Everyone loved this dish and it turned out even better than I anticipated. I did use a bit more pancetta since, hey, everything's better with bacon, (or pancetta! Very easy dish and was just delicious!

I could eat it by the panful. Everyone I have served this too has loved it. However it is spicy, but not too spicy for me. I would say go easy on the red pepper flakes if you have a sensitive stomach.

Absolutely delicious...although I would exactly call this easy to make. The time and effort it takes to make it is well worth it, though! I've eaten just this for dinner, it's so good. I reduced the amount of red pepper flakes since it was a bit too spicy for my liking with the amount the recipe calls for. Highly recommended!

This isn't roasted cauliflower...it is a baked gratin. Good for what it is, just misnamed, it seems to me...

I loved this dish. However, I mad a few adjustments. Apparently, Giada likes her dishes spicy! So, I only used 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes and used chicken & apple sausage instead of pancetta. I thought this was easy to whip up and would make it again.

I made this with steak the other night, I didn't use the Pancetta because I don't care for it and I only used 1/2 the red pepper flakes (which was enough for my taste I didn't think it was heavy at all. The flour and butter make a roux which is needed for most any type of a Gratin veggie dish. Without the flour and butter might as well make steamed veggies. We liked it and will make again.

I love Giada, but i did not like this recipe at all! it was so heavy and unhealthy. i think IF i make this again, i will omit the butter & flour in the recipe and that way it would be lighter and healthy! Sorry it was not a winner, and i have NEVER not liked one of giada's recipes. =(

I tried this cuz I had some leftover cauliflower from a veggie tray. YUCK It was so boring, but I refused to waste all that sauce. I added more crushed reds, didn't help, added sharp chedder, didn't much. I finally added some cajan crawfish boil, and that made it at least edible. I have tried other recipes from Giada with the same results. I guess I am too addicted to capsations to enjoy her food. But from what I have read in the reviews, I seem to be the minority, oh well, I am glad other people enjoy her recipes. That is what is all about, everyone has different tastes and I wouldn't want it any other way.
