I used store bought empanada dough this time around ...was in a hurry. Recipe was very simple, delicous and cooked quickly. Served with an avocado salad. Kids loved it....I'm happy: Peace out!

I made these for a tapas party and was sort of tentative because I'm not crazy about olives and because they look so intimidating. But... WOW. Blew me away. What a great combination of flavors- and that dough! I can't wait to try it with lots of different fillings!

Yes, it took a while to make, this is definitely a left-over chicken receipe. But once I served this to my family, I couldn't believe how much they liked it, and my 15 year old NEVER eats anything I make from scratch anymore!!! The green sauce was tangy and the sour cream made a perfect foil over the top of the turnover. Thank you for a wonderful food!

By far, this is the tastiest and most satisfying dough that I have ever used and tasted. Because it only has to set for 20 minutes in the refrigerator, and because of the intense and unique flavor yielded from spices and flour, corn meal, and masa mixture, this recipie is easy money as your quick go to dough.
