    This is a simple recipe with great flavor. If your mind conjures up images of the slop from a can that your Mom called cream corn, trust me that this is nothing like that at all. I prefer more Tumeric for the wonderful color it gives to the dish. Be prepared to wish you had made a double portion, because everybody is going to want seconds.

    I never thought having fresh cream corn could be so easy and flavorful. Now when corn is in season a make a bunch and freeze it.

    My family thought I was nuts to make creamed corn when I could buy it in a can, but they changed their tune when they tasted this recipe! Fresh corn isn't in season right now, so I used thawed frozen corn and a wee bit of water instead. It was a hit.

    I was a little wary, but quickly had to go out to get more corn!! And more corn, and then more corn... I made this and froze it, its going to be really great halfway thru the winter!

    This creamed corn was absolutely awesome. It was almost as good as my grandmother's. It was very easy to make and my Yankee husband even loved this southern creamed corn. This is definitely a keeper.

    Get that great corn from your market that is now in season & try this recipe! I've been wowing friends & family for the past two weeks with this amazing creamed corn. It is unlike anything you've tried & will forever change how you feel about creamed corn you've had before. This is way good!
