    I've made this twice so far. The first time I used the full tablespoonful of vanilla extract. I found the vanilla to be a bit overpowering so the second time I made it with about half as much vanilla and it turned out perfect!. This is so easy & delicious, I'll never use store-bought whipped cream again.

    You can usually store fresh whipped cream like this for up to 10 hours. Just rewhisk for about 10-15 seconds before using :

    this was really really easy! i put an extra 1/2 TBLS of powdered sugar in the recipe & it was still not sweet at all! wonderful!

    This is the best recipe for whipped cream I've found. It's in my permanent stash. The search is over!! It's great on Paula Dean's Bubba's Key Lime Pie and served over just about any sweet fruit. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

    Simple and easy to make. 1 tbsp sugar was just right, altho if you have a sweet tooth maybe add another 1/2 to 1 tbsp. Used only a splash of vanilla.

    Just made this. Used only a teaspoon of vanilla and this turned out really good. Put it on top of hot chocolate recipe by paula dean. Excellent.
