This took a little time to make, I made homemade pizza crust because I had the stuff in my pantry for it and didn't feel like going to the store solely for premade pizza crust-it was WELL worth the time it took.

I have several children, ages 11, 5, 4, and 2 and ALL of them enjoeyed this recipe (they enjoyed it so much that I had to actually tell them they couldn't have any more after they all had seconds and wanted thirds.
I made this for a casual Sunday dinner and served it with a light side salad.
My children LOVED these and I have to say I did too! They came out wonderfully-so flavorful!

...and the only way I can get my three teens to eat ricotta cheese (they don't even like it in lasagna. This recipe has been in our dinner rotation for about four years.
