    I receive compliments on how good the shrimp and dip are. I always say, "The food compliments go to Bobby Deen and the presentation compliments I'll accept myself!"

    Just a tip - try using Panko bread crumbs instead of traditional. You can find it in the Asian food section of the grocery store. It is definitely more appropriate in this type of recipe and adds a lighter, crispier, crunchier texture. Hope this helps. Thanks for a terrific recipe. Yum.

    tried this with panko crumbs and it was fantastic. Loved the sauce. I was really pleased with the comments I got from my husband ( my critic. He thought they were as good as a restaurant. NOW, How about THAT!

    This is by far the best coconut shrimp I've ever had - including coconut shrimp from restaurants! And that dipping sauce was also just wonderful! All in all, just a symphony of island inspired flavor!

    WOW, this was Crazy Monkey Good!!!! You'all Or how ever southerners say that... Need to try this one. It Rocked way up in Minnesota followed the reciepe and loved it thanks!
