All I can say is......wow! This was fantastic! A creamy, cheesy bowl of deliciousness. Real comfort food for sure. Highly recommended to everyone. :

Overall, this was very good and very rich. It was easy to make. The prep was easy with my Vidalia Chopper.
After reading the other coments, I made the following changes....
I omitted the carrot and added celery. I also doubled the (turkey burger, and used cubed cheddar instead of Velveeta. I topped it with a little shredded cheese and a handful of fresh bacon crumbles, and diced dill pickle. I served it with toasted galic bagguette.
We're stuffed.

We LOVE this recipe! I use sharp cheddar instead of American cheese, and add more hamburger. I bring this to all of the potlucks we're invited to because everyone asks for it! The addition of the different spices really gives it a kick.

I've made this chowder for years and I never get tired of it. It's great on a cold day. I use light cheese and fat free evaporated milk. It is still just as good.

My family LOVES this recipe. I several times during the winter. It takes a bit of time to prep but well worth the effort.

I absolutely LOVE this recipe!
I use Venison meat in place of the beef, so if you have venison and aren't crazy about the flavor of it, this is a great recipe.
I personally love venison, but i know some kids can get picky :
I used heavy cream in place of the evaporated milk because its what i had on hand.
Bottom line, my kids love it and the adults do too!

I followed the recipe except for the addition of carrots. It tastes like cheeseburger helper in a box minus noodles. The pickle made it tolerable. We won't be making this again. Its just not for us.

This chowder was delicious!! EVERYONE in the family loved it. I doubled the recipe (leftovers are just as delicious. The only thing I left out was the tomatoes and the pickles at the end.SUPER easy to make and most of the ingredients are easily found in the pantry.
