This soup was fairly easy to make and so so good! The accompanying crackers are a MUST. Soup got better the next day as is often the case.

This episode aired on Saturday morning, and on Friday afternoon I headed to my local fish market. My mom and I had a chowder cook-off. She is renowned for her Manhatten style clam chowder, and this was the first time I had ever tried making any type of chowder at all! The results were fantastic. Not only was this an easy to follow recipe, but the flavor was as Guy Fieri would put it "Money!". The chowder cook-off was a tie - Dad, the tie-breaker voted for mom's. I guess that's why they've been married for 53-years! Keep up the good work Tyler!
