This recipe is a keeper. I don't have a mandolin, so I used the slicing disk of the food processor, which worked fine. I also used toasted cashews, since I didn't have the other nuts. Otherwise, I followed the recipe. I'll make it again.

Slicing the broccoli on a mandolin was a job, it ends up crumb-y. Slicing was easier. Good taste

My husband found this recipe and made it for my birthday dinner as a surprise.
He's a sous-chef in training (at home and had no trouble at all with this recipe. Very easy and extremely delicious. I liked it so much I'm taking it to a pot-luck for our neighborhood night out tomorrow.

This is the best broccoli dish I have ever eaten, the whole thing didn't last 24 hours between my Mom and I. I used 4 heads of broccoli because I do not have a scale to measure a pound but I think the proportions off broccoli to everything else was great. I also used 4oz. of hazelnuts because they are my favorite nut in the entire universe. Otherwise I really just followed the way Alton did it when I watched the episode with it. My platonic love goes to Alton for this dish, because a new way to eat uncooked broccoli is just what my life needed.

I took this dish to a potluck - these folks don't eat as well as they could and they all enjoyed it a lot. Even though I followed the recipe as written, one woman said it needed more salt! Wow! It already had more than I would normally use - 1 t - but otherwise, it was a hit
