Way to much food for typical family of 4-.I mean 1 gallon of gravy are you out of your mind? Good recipe for family reunion but steer clear if its just the regular meal.

This recipe looked like it was for the Marine Corp so I didn't even attempt the propotions.

I had a 1.7kg Bolar Roast (4lbs approx. Cooked it as directed, except the time which was 3 1/2 hours. Vegetables were:
    Carrot 1 per person
    1/2 onion per person and
    2 celery stalks.

This worked out fine and i'll definitely be using it again. Even finiky teenage son loved it!

I have always had problems with making gravy and this was such a great help.

Once again thank you so much for putting your recipe on this site

    Sincerely,
    April

This isn't for an average family. This seems like enough for a restaurant.
