My best friend made these for my baby shower and they were great! And everyone thought so, not just the pregnant lady!

Pepperoni or Salami from the deli tastes better with the pickles and cream cheese and it has a little bite to it!!

Great appetizer for vodka drinkers. I made this for a party and the guys specially came back for more and more, but I did add seedless Kalamata olive on top and secured it with a tootpick.

I am sorry to say, but this is a complete disaster. I threw them away. My husband thought they were horrible and so did I! I cannot believe this recipe got 5 stars!

I love this recipe - I use the philly whipped onion and chive cream cheese, it is always a hit at parties.

I've only had these with pickled okra instead of dill pickles, and they are delicious!

These are a sure hit every year at Derby parties! I've nicknamed them "Hillbilly Pickles" or "Redneck Sushi". Claussen deli pickles work the best, and always pat them and the ham slices dry with a paper towel before assembling.

I 've been making these for years and my guests love them, but I do it alittle different and that is to take very thin sliced precooked ham (deli style carefully spread with the cream cheese (which you can thin out with mayo or yogart and cut your pickle lengthwise into 3 or 4 strips and then roll them up. I usually cut the wet, seedy part of the pickle out.

I love these - my Mom has been making these since I can remember and I love them! We always drain the pickles on a paper towel in the fridge for an hour or two. I think Klaussen dill spears are the best. We also add a touch of worsteshire to the cream cheese - makes a delcious difference. I like Oscar Mayer ham pre-packaged ham slices - they're shaped perfectly and never wet. Love love love these!!! The best part is the ends are never pretty so you get plenty of samples!
