This is the pie my mother and the other Cooks in the neighnorhood made. Great texture. I added vanilla extract and a little extra cinnamon and sugar and it was great :

This is the best sweet potato pie I have ever made. When my husband asked me to make him one I dreaded it, because it never comes out the way I want it to. This one was PERFECT!
