The title says it all. The cake will spoil quicker with a cream cheese and jam icing.

I just made this cake using half whole-wheat flour and a bit less sugar (1 and a half cups. It came out really tasty and I'm making it again for thanksgiving. I think I could have left out more sugar because it was still quite sweet. I recommend doing this if you want it a little healthier.

This is an easy and great tasting cake with or without the guava cream cheese topping.

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone was raving about it. Only thing is I took it out of the pan while it was still a bit warm and it fell apart, so be careful!

I baked this cake for a Thanksgiving get together at my house. Everyone loved it and some people even paired it with vanilla ice cream. YUMMY!! Ultimately, I baked this same cake again and gave each one to those same guests for part of their Christmas gifts. It takes a little while to make and is kinda messy mainly because of the apples, but it is well worth it.
