    The chicken turned out very tender. I left out the bay leaves and it still turned out great.

    I had to alter the recipe a bit. I did not have the time to marinate and I did not have white vinegar so I used red wine vinegar. The result was a very tasty dish! The chicken was very tender and the thickened juice was yummy over the rice (I used jasmine rice. I look forward to following the recipe to the letter next time!!
