The meatloaf is moist and flavorful, but good lord, the bbq sauce is cloyingly sweet. I could only taste ketchup and sugar. Full disclosure..where I come from ketchup based bbq sauce is kind of a joke, but I thought it would be perfect for meatloaf. I could only eat a slice though because it was so sweet. I can't imagine using the bbq sauce on actual bbq.

We loved this meatloaf! It was moist and very flavorful. It is great that there are options for healthy choices. My family is happy tonight!

Very Tasty!!! The best meatloaf I've EVER had in all my 40 years of life, not exaggerating either!!! This was my first turkey meatloaf. My husband, KILLED it. Our children, KILLED it. Even our extremely finicky 2+ year old ATE every bit of it and had 2nds. So thank you Pat and Gina very much!

My family loves it! I have made it many times now and we rarely have leftovers. I started baking mine in a muffin pan and bake 15 minutes at 400. Then I add BBQ sauce and mashed garlic potatoes and bake for another ten. Kids love the "meatloaf cupcakes".

Soooo good! I make it all the time, sometimes with the homemade sauce. If you don't have time to wait for the sauce to reduce Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce works great with this meatloaf too. It stays super moist and everyone always asks for the recipe!

Excellent very good taste. This recipe is better than the one in the Neelys cookbook. The meatloaf must be cold before slicing or it wiii break apart. Gloria

Great recipe. I combine it with Ina's and my family loves it -- the barbeque sauce (I use bottled makes it!

I've made this three times now, including making it just last night. The first time I made it, it fell apart. The 2nd time I made it, it fell apart even more so than the first time. This time, it didn't fall apart! Finally got it right I suppose. I always cook it longer than it says, but this time I added an extra 20 minutes this time and perhaps that is why it stayed intact. It was very moist and delicious. Even my son who hates meatloaf loved it and said "this tastes like chicken". I didn't make my own BBQ sauce either, I used a bottled sweet version and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this meatloaf! I don't think I could ever go back to a beef meatloaf.

It was good but mine needed a lot longer than 55 minutes. I took mine out, let it rest for 10 minutes so it didn't fall apart, well it did that anyway because the inside was still way undercooked. A ground beef meatloaf normally cooks for 55 minutes and then another 15 with a sauce on top. I had to cook the rest of the meatloaf in the microwave so this time around it was just okay. Maybe my oven is off, but I would suggest to anyone else that is going to make this, use a probe thermometer to make sure it is cooked and pull it out when it gets to 165. Oh, I also added 4 strips of bacon and 1/4 cup cheddar chesse.
