Amazing recipe.. All of my family loved it.. I made it with light brown/green lentils and it was delicious..
I'm Portuguese but I'm used to Italian recipes, because I love pasta more than anything in the world and I'd never had hear of this one. I've become a nº1 fan.. Definitely its something to repeat. Thanks.. :

easy to do - i used grape tomatoes instead of larger tomatoes (that's all that i had at the time and bacon and it came out really good.

We loved that dish. It is perfect in every way. It was tasty and had a nice texture. I served it with grilled aubergines with melted fresh mozzarella topped with gremolata. Simple and almost vegetarian!

I think you have to have the right kind of lentils for this one, otherwise you end up with brown paste. I omitted the bacon for diet reasons, but I can't imagine it having that great an effect on the test. Perhaps a better spice combination could improve the quality of this recipe, as it is it doesn't have enough character to sustain interest.

This is an easy dish to prepare. Quite flavorful--actually we were quite surprised. We used bacon since we were out of pancetta which worked well. It is great to serve with a baked fish (salmon or shrimp. I will definetly make it again.
