I've never eaten poached eggs until my nutritionist told me that I should never eat hard yolked eggs! YOU ROCK!!!

ok, so i'd never made poached eggs before. i definitely think that 7-8 minutes is too long (i cooked mine for 4, and that was too long!, but it was easy & tasty! i will definitely use this as a basis for my egg poaching.

Nifty tip from my favorite foodnet guy.
Admittedly, I thought 8 minutes was a long time for a poached egg. I'm looking forward to the five minute approach to poach!

Muchas gracias oh wise one. I successfully made eggs benedict for a crowd---yeh!!!!!!! I used the lemon
juice since it would compliment the
hollandaise sauce. Yes, I gave you the
credit; for the eggs, that is. The sauce was ALL mine.

I have always loved poached eggs (when they were done right and this tip is fool proof. The yellow is soft and the white is NEVER runny.
