My husband saw this recipe on TV and has been making it ever since. I love it. THe receipe does make a lot of stew. He doesn't use Vegesal, because we have never been able to find it. He uses other spices in its place. He's made it for company, and they loved it.

I like to try different, eclectic dishes and this one was a treat! My entire family enjoyed it. Although this recipe says it feeds 8ppl, well I have a family of 6 and I had enough for 2 households. It was very delicious!!!
