Great recipe! I made this twice - one for my boyfriend and the second time for his parents and it was a hit! We all hate mayo so I excluded that from the pesto mix and it still turned out good. I added thinly sliced onions and some arugula on the burger and it was to die for. I am thinking of making this for Thanksgiving lunch for the family!

My boyfriend and I made this the other night and it was fantastic! The steak was so moist and juicy. It was finger-licking good! Mixing pesto with mayonnaise turned out to be a fabulous idea. I used the same combo for a different dish's sauce later in the week.

I LOVED THIS RECIPE. I HAVE NEVER MADE LONDON BROIL BEFORE.. LET ALONE THINKING OF IT ON THE GRILL. VERY MOIST AND FAVORFUL. INSTEAD OF MAYO I USED MICARLE WHIP. AND I BOUGHT A LOAF OF ITALIAN BREAD FROM THE DELI AND TOASTED AND SLICED IT... AND PROVOLONE CHEESE MELTED ON TOP... ABSOLUTELY A KEEPER!!!!! MY B/F WANTS MORE... I PACKED IT FOR LUNCH FOR HIM.. IT WAS SO GOOD HE CAME HOME LOOKING THE FRIDGE FOR MORE... BUT HE ALREAY ATE IT ALL!!!!!

This is a really easy recipe to follow and it is tasty too. The flavors really worked well together. I made sweet potato fries as a side.

Tried this tonight for dinner. Everyone loved it@! Used toasted whole wheat sandwich rolls instead of ciabatta bread and they were delicious. Also, used grilled onions as I couldn't find any good ripe tomatoes. Loved the pesto mayonaisse spread. Would definitely make again. Make sure you slice the london broil very thin.

I saw Sandra Lee make this yesterday and was drooling in my seat. I ran to the grocery store this morning for the ingredients so I could make these for my husband's lunch. I made my own pesto (spinach pesto and did everything else per her recipe. This was the first time I was able to grill meat and get it right--medium well. The sandwich when put together was just amazing. The pesto mayonaise complimented the Montreal steak seasoned beef perfectly and the tomatoes cooled it down just a bit. I would recommend everyone to try this one. BTW, husband LOVED it and wants me to make again and again......
