I was looking for a great recipe for asparagus that I would be preparing at a friends house. I knew I wanted to use fresh spring asparagus but since it was a dinner party I felt like just grilling some asparagus wasn't enough. I found this recipe and thought the ingredients of the mayo sounded fabulous, and very simple. Also something I could make ahead and bring to the party. It was absolutely delicious and everyone was raving about the sauce, if they only knew how easy it was! The only thing I would say, is def buy skinned hazelnuts if you can find them, skinning hazelnuts isn't so bad - but it's worth the extra money to buy it already done for sure.
