    I had a feeling this would be very bland but I followed the recipe exactly. I was right. No one liked it. I like sour cream but it overpowers this dish. You need alot of other seasonings to use that much sour cream and have the flavors meld.

    Adding some paprika to the sour cream mixture improves the flavor. It will taste more like Hungarian paprikash.

    I played around with this recipe a bit.After the chicken was browned I took it out and added 3 tablespoons of flour, a whole can of chicken stock and left out the sour cream.Put in a little dried thyme.Put the chicken back in with some mushrooms.It was great!!
    Served it with rice and roasted asparagus tips.
