The batter was very thick, I did not have any baking powder on hand so I used one tablespoon of baking soda instead and that worked fine.
I made half of the batch with chocolate chips and the other half with blueberries.
The chocolate chip ones were horrible! Not good at all. Way too much chocolate and melty.
The blueberry ones on the other hand were delicious. The batter is not very sweet so if you have some extra sweet blueberries, it turns out wonderful, if not i would suggest that you add more sugar to your batter and maybe even vanilla.
My family loved the blueberry ones, give them a try!

I let the milk mixture cool for five min and the chocolate chips still almost completely melted. It's more of a chocolate pancake than a chocolate chip one. Also, flipping the pancake is like flipping a thick cake. Too much of a hassle and not quite worth spending the time on it. Easy to burn with all the chocolate- I would recommend not putting in the entire 6 oz and adding the chocolate chips once you have the batter in the pan.

Fluffy and sinful with all the chocolate....that is quite a bit of chocolate chips, go for 4 oz if you want a somewhat less decadent pancake...also, go light on the butter for greasing the pan (I recommend using cooking spray the first few came out a bit greasy, but overall they were fluffy and delicious.

This was the best and quickest pancake recipe I've had in a really long time. I used mini-chips instead and used a medium cookie scooper to get the pancakes the same size and not get my hands filled with batter. This recipe was quick, easy, and yummy. Definetley a keeper!

Pretty good cakes in a pinch. Not as flulffy as we would have liked but if you triple the chocolate chips they are really good. Some like Bisquick better.

I was tired of the humdrum choices of pancake flavors--plain, blueberry, maple, etc.--and this was the perfect recipe for a breakfast with a new taste. It was quick and easy to make, which is perfect for a Saturday morning b/c you can actually spend more time enjoying the food instead of slaving at the stove for it. The pancakes turned out really fluffy and both me and my boyfriend just LOVED the chocolate chips!

My husband and I are huge pancake lovers and we have experimented with many recipes. This is by far the best!

The pancakes came out so fluffy and flavorful. Absolutely wonderful.
