We're vegetarians so I'm always testing new veggie burger recipes. These had a great flavor, but they seemed to fall apart easily. And when we ate them, they seemed very crumbly. They're very fragile little burgers, but the flavor is great. I may make these again, but not on a regular basis. i'll keep searching other veggie burger recipes. But i do love Sandra Lee's recipes! :

This "burger" reminded me a lot of a grilled version of falafel, which I really like. I would like to try it next time with onion added to the mixture and maybe a better grill seasoning - but otherwise it was good.

Vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike loved this burger. I made small "slider" sized burgers and served them with a dill sauce. The coolness of the sauce along with the heat from the paprika in the burgers was a great pairing. I grilled them indoors on a griddle, so they were probably different from those prepared on an outdoor grill, but yummy just the same. Very simple to prepare. In fact I made then a day ahead then cooked right before dinner.

I thought this was a nice alternative to a traditional burger, especially since we aren't big fans of meat. Very quick & easy. While mixing the ingredients, I thought for sure the vinegar addition had ruined it, but I kept on going & the burgers turned out well. My picky-eater husband & 10-yr-old son raved over them. The patties were fairly crumbly, so next time I may try adding more egg to see if they stay together better & make eating them less messy.

It is always a challenge to cook for them, we personally eat meat...so I gave it a whirl. We added red onion and all loved the burgers. Next time I might increase the recipe by 50% to make the burgers a little bigger (must be the meatlover in me, but all in all, great recipe.
