This recipe was SO GOOD. I had never eaten artichoke leaves before until I had them at a restaurant recently. We rarely eat out so I wanted to make them at home, and I'm glad I did!! These would be amazing for entertaining... they are so impressive looking but really don't take that much effort, and people devour them! I WISH I had read the reviews about pouring some of the broth into the right-side-up artichokes before serving. Will do the next time! We didn't even need a dipping sauce. So good and healthy. Great recipe!!

We eat Artichokes all the time normally some salt in the water and nothing eles. This way was so good you did not need to dip the leaves in anything at all. GREAT FLAVORS!!!!

Really great. Super easy, just follow the recipe. I didn't have parsley but had some fresh sprigs of thyme so used them and it was fabulous. Like the last reviewer, I also made an aioli with mayo, lemon juice, minced garlic, and I mashed up a chipotle (in adobo sauce. Left out the seeds so it was tolerable. Great combo, super flavor. I'll definitely do this one again.

This is freakin amazing holy cow, I just wanted to drink the broth it was cooked in after I ate my artichoke! I made a dip with mayo, dash of cayenne pepper, lemon juice and minced garlic! Keeper for life!

Great recipe... I make sure NEVER to remove the long stems on artichokes, though. Most people don't realize it, but the heart of the artichoke is just an extension of that stem! Just trim the end a bit instead of cutting the stem flush to the bulb, you'll be glad you did!

This was my second try at steamed artichokes, the first one being a disaster. I followed the techniques and recipes. Descriptions were very thorough and easy to folow resulting in wonderfully tasting artichokes. Will use again.

AMAZING! This is so simple, but so enhances the taste of the artichoke! I liked artichokes before, mostly because I like playing with my food, but after this recipe, I CRAVE them! I especially like turning the artichoke upside down to stand on its own to steam. You don't get the sogginess of boiling, or the blandness (plus one more utensil to clean! of steaming. So clever!
