So far Tyler is one of my most trusted chef's to learn from.
I love tiramisu and never miss a chance to get it when in an Italian restaurant.
Recently I had a few fairly disappointing servings of Tiramisu and decided to try and make one myself.
When I searched for a recipe Tylers came up, and since I have always been thrilled with his recipes I have was happy to try it.
It came out amazing! Among the best of tiramisu's as far as I am concerned, and I have tried a lot of different tiramisu's.
I did double the mascarpone mixture.
I made the zabaglione cream over a double broiler, but made sure to strain it when I was done to get rid of any bits of cooked egg.
I love Tylers recipes and this one did not disappoint!

This is the best Tiramisu.Always a big hit at every party.Note always prepare the coffee, allow it to cool at least a few hours before you get ready to prepare the Tiramisu.

I'm not a connesieur of tiramisu but thought I would try since our friends were bringing italian over for dinner. Made it the night before so it would have time to set. The zabaglione was a bit challenging since I wasn't sure the consistency was correct (it turned out fine and set perfectly in fridge. I doubled the filling and had to make 50% more of the chocolate/coffee mixture. I did use coffee liquer instead of rum because I didn't have any. I would be curious to taste the version with rum. The 'misu was delish and everyone loved it! I would definitely make again. Thanks Tyler!

I made this with the Marsala but not the Rum, and it was great. Next time, I'm going to add the rum, too. Tyler, another superb recipe!

I've made this recipe several times for parties. I'm always asked to bring it again. Cooking the egg mixture makes for a safe dessert. I prefer to use Kahlua for the alcohol. Thanks Tyler for another sensational recipe. You're the MAN!

I thought tiramisu would be a bit ambitious for someone whose most elaborate piece of equipment is a hand mixer, however, this recipe is simple if you follow it to a "T". So delicious and very much Italian. Perfect for a formal party or just dinner and drinks with friends!
