OMG. I used this recipe one year after watching Mrs. Neely make it on TV. Had never tasted it, but I thought I would try and make a new drink for the holidays

Everyone loved it!!! and I do mean everyone. People were coming back the next day looking for some more to drink.

It is so popular among my friends and family, I get calls about it often to make them some.

    Love thsi recipe....

Very tasty. Be careful with the sugar, I felt it was a little on the sweet side. And let it sit a bit before serving.

The blood orange juice at Trader Joe's is in the juice aisle, not in the orange juice aisle. We couldn't find blood oranges either.

I am having a Girls Night Out tomorrow and saw this the other day and thought it would be good. I do not drink wine nor like it, so I hope it will work I too had a hard time finding blood oranges. I went to Trader joes and did not see the juice nor oranges. Actually I have gone to about 6 diffrent chain stores looikng for them. So I too will use the plain oranges. I will let you know after the party how it went. Four starts are only because of not finding the oranges.

I made this after I saw the recipe on the show. I had a party to plan and had all ingredients except blood oranges/juice so I used regular OJ and everyone loved it and wanted the recipe! Will always use this at parties! What a great way to use the red wine-especially in warm weather! Thank you for this simple tasty drink recipe!

I love this recipe. I didn't know how the wine mixed with brandy would taste together but it turned out terrific! It is our new favorite drink. My husband who isn't a wine drinker loves it. I used regular oranges we couldn't find any blood oranges, but you can find the blood orange juice at a local Trader Joes. Thanks for the recipe.
