Using the guide of the recipe I made my first ever batch of Cream of Chicken Soup. A little substitution here and there, no sherry - but used Marsala, Half and Half as that was what I had on hand instead of cream. A couple dashes of Topatio hot sauce - and dash or two of soy sauce. Over Steamed Rice - Yum! Thanks Food TV Kitchen Crew!!!!

Very good overall flavor. I added 1/2 cup of rice and it was perfect. I will make this again - so yummy!

I haven't made this soup yet but am giving it 5 stars b/c I know by the ingredients and cooking method that it's a great soup. I am going to add wild rice to mine.

Easy & really tasty! Omitted the sherry & used dried herbs but was still delicious. Added about 2 cups cooked white rice with the chicken. Also threw in 2 handfulls of frozen peas into the pot right before serving.

This is the best soup I've ever made. I substituted pino noir for the sherry (i am out and used a little less salt because I used salted butter. Really delicious and flavorful!

Really Good! I modified this and used it as a creamy chicken noodle soup recipe. I omitted the cream and reduced the sherry to only 1 teaspoon. I boiled 1 inch pieces of fettucine noodles on side and added them as the last step. Also I used half of a shredded mojo rotisserie chicken.

Great recipe real simple, I also added corn to it, thanks for all the good ideas for adding new things to this soup.
